He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine A. "JoAnn" Smith; his daughter Paula Smith; his parents, Paul D. Smith and Margaret A. Smith (Seemiller); and his sister Phyllis Shortley.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Smith (Carolyn), Cynthia Meyer (Chris), Michael Smith, Jeffrey Smith (Tracy) and Fred; his grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas Smith (Bridget), Christopher (Krista Marie), Chelsea Meyer, Megan Smith, Lauren, Matthew Smith and Shannon Klimek (Randy); his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Arlo, Elio, Ellie Josephine and Landon; and his siblings, Elsie Clark, Joann Cavrak, Paul Smith (Peggy) and Jackie Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc. (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.
