With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elmer C. Pitchford Jr. of Munhall, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his spouse Arda M. Pitchford (Fredrickson); his parents, Elmer C. Pitchford and Elizabeth Pitchford (Kundrat); and his sister Betty Ann White. He is survived by: his children, Rose Grimm (late Gene) of Lincoln Place, PA, Charles Pitchford (Barbara) of Butler, PA, Susie Harakal (David) of Munhall, PA, Robert Pitchford (Michelle) of Brunswick, GA, Logan Seelhorst and Nico Burns; and his sisters, Hazel Fowler (William) and June Jew (Dennis). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc. (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish (1 Saint Therese Court, Munhall, PA 15120).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America or the Alzheimer's Association.
