He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Halferty and Catherine Halferty (Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Karen Halferty (Sawl); his children, Cari Finley (Chris) and Janine Halferty; his grandchild Karlee Finley; and his siblings, William J. (Diann), Edward G. (Mindy), Mary Beth and Patrick M. Halferty (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
