She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Savannah and Elizabeth Savannah (Weidenhof); and her sister Rosemarie Spohn (late Mike). She is survived by: her husband Joseph W. Zupan, Sr.; her children, Joseph Zupan, Jr. (Brooke) and Angela Hafen (Dan); her grandchildren, Jameson, Ava Hafen, Joseph III and Olivia Zupan; her siblings, Ronald Savannah (late Norma), George Savannah (Betty), Cecelia Grenek (Tony), Virginia McCracken (late Larry) and Marsha (late Ken); and her brother-in-law John Zupan (Rita). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 363 W. 11th Avenue, Homestead, PA 15120, or to your local breast cancer research center.

“Carolyn and I played together as children. She went to dance class and shared what she learned with me. We spent many evenings sharing slices of pizza and watching her Mother iron shirts and aprons on a mangle. I moved from North Street and we lost touch even though we shared the same high school class. I have remembered her often. My thoughts and sympathies are with her family. God be with you.
