He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor J. Michael and Ruth Ann Michael (Bodansky); his brother Robert H. Michael, Sr.; and his nephew Robert H. Michael, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judith Myers; and his children, Victor A. Michael, Jr. (Lori) of Cheyenne, WY, Van Michael (Kimberli) of Turbotville, Vicki Schneider of Danville and Valerie Urban (Vincent) of Millville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.

He touched so many, many lives through radio and his roles in education. Many will never forget his contributions during the 1972 Agnes flood disaster in central Pennsylvania. Against established projections, he alone & correctly warned people that the ensuing havoc would be far worse than was being predicted, saving lives and businesses. Paul Herbert”
