He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen G. and Mary E. McCarty (Aunkst); his wife Jane "Joog" Ulirch; and his brothers, Donald and Roy McCarty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Bardo and Mary Sanner (Phil); his siblings, Wilbur McCarty (Kay), Kenneth McCarty (Donna), Max McCarty (Donna Remley), Joyce Sivak (John) and Janet McCarty (Les Hauck); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Steven, Dakota, Haley and Ashlynn.
