He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Karschner and Verna Karschner (Stamm); his siblings, Harold Karschner, Elaine Maurer and June; and his cousins, Emile Klase, Madeline Sherwood, Betty Karschner and Eleanor Hector.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Wither; his children, Ronald A. Karschner (Chuck Stiefel), Cindy J. Smith (Larry) of Danville and Brett A. Karschner (Christa); his grandchildren, Lindsay Hoffman, Alisha Lotz, Erin Karschner, Alexa Karschner and Madison Karschner; and his great grandchildren, Everett Lotz and Jackson Payne.
