It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merri A. Montgomery of Muncy Valley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gary W. Montgomery; her parents, Charles Golder and Frieda Golder (Bair); her brother David Golder; and her brother-in-law Roger "Dean" Glidewell.
She is survived by: her son Sheriff Robert Montgomery (Kristin) of Eagles Mere; her grandchildren, Patton Montgomery, Grant Shultz (Sage) and Audrey Williams (Joshua); her great grandchild Oliver Shultz; and her siblings, Freda Glidewell of Benton, Alma Golder of Muncy Valley and Douglas Golder (Leona) of Scottsville, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
