He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynda Lou Abbitt Moody; his parents, Clarence C. Moody and Blanche Buck Moody; his children, Lynda Leigh Bishop of Jacksonville, FL, Tarah E. Beck and Glenn A. Moody (Connie) of Bull Gap, VA.; his grandchildren, Caitlyn A., Hope E., Amanda J., Sara J. and Hannah N. Bishop; and his brother Edward Moody (Roxborough).
