He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon L. Smith, Sr. and Thelma Channell Smith; his daughter Katrina; and his brothers, Gordon, Robert, Georgie and Randy.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Marc Tyrone, Tainiesha Michelle and Dennis Michael; his grandchildren, Kyrell Wright-Smith, Kali Marie Singleton, Kira Alexis Singleton, Shayla Marie Thomas, Tianna Rae Smith and Syncere Young; his siblings, Bonnie Gilbert, Sandra Pope (Bill) and Gerald Smith; and also Dennis L. Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
