He was predeceased by: his parent Serrill Slocum; and his brother Randy Slocum. He is survived by: his spouse Patti A. Langley Slocum; his parent Ellen Thom Slocum; his children, Tricia A. Slocum-Thurber, Cassie J. Coder (William R.) and Scott D. Slocum (Ashley); his grandchildren, Christopher (Brianna), McKenzie, Joshua, Loretta, Stella, Brody, Linus, Alexander, Zoey, Simon and Jackson; and his sister Pamela Johnston (Rick).
The Memorial Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
