He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Marie Zajac (Wyda); his daughters, Marla Zajac and Tara Zajac; and his granddaughters, Kristi Ann Cheek, Manda Birk and Erin McPeek.

He is survived by: his wife Freda Mae Zajac (Kaylor); and his siblings, Carl of Hobbie, John of Hialeah, FL, Raymond (Mary), Suzanne (Ray Urban) and Monica (Paul Melnick) of Rochester, NY.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
