He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Fischer and Mary Granda Fischer; his wife Eleanore M. Zugarek Fischer; and his siblings, Helen Hoeffner, Joseph Fischer and Theresa LaVenture.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ellen Butkiewicz (James) of Elkton, MD; his grandchildren, Amy Fischinskie (Danielle), Erica Gibbons (Peter), Allison Peters (Craig), Lauren Butkiewicz, Christopher Smith (Lauren), Jessica Metrick (Matthew) and Brian Smith (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Addyson, Morgan, Madelyn Fischinskie, Logan, Emma Gibbons, Kara, Boone Peters, Christopher, Ella, Sawyer Smith, Brianna and Hailey Metrick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
