He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Tate and Hanna Hart Tate; his former wife Marge Tate; his wife June Tate; his daughters, Susan Miller and Linda Nigra; and his siblings, David and Jacqueline Tate.
He is survived by: his son Thomas Tate of Florida; his stepchildren, Michele Clark of Mountain Top, Janet Giarratano of Mountain Top, William Taylor (Joanne) of Little Falls, NJ and Al Taylor (Norma) of Wayne, NJ; and his siblings, Clarence, Gail and Richard Tate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.
