With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary D. Petyo of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kumor and Martha Bogumil Kumor; her husband Michael Petyo; and her siblings, Benjamin, Chester, Edmund Kumor, Stephanie Moses, Bertha Wasilewski, Helen Bandura, Victoria Martin, Veronica Kovelaski, Genevieve Pryst, Bernadine Bolar and Loretta Grohowski.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Jacono of Lewes, DE, Michael Petyo (Claudette) and Edmund Petyo (Corinne); and her grandchildren, Maria, James, Keith, Adam, Danni, Ethan and Brianna. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
