She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alexiou and Efstratia Alexiou (Mbakalatzis); her brother George Alexiou; her nephew John Alexiou; and her sister-in-law Diana Alexiou.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gus Alexiou of Chambersburg, PA and Stella Deakos (Nicholas) of Woodbridge, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, their spouse, and children.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church or St. Jude's Children Hospital (stjude.org) in Mary's memory.
