With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martina J. Aufiero (Mountain Top, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Edward Degnan; and her brothers, Edward Degnan and James Degnan. She is survived by: her parent Sarah Carkhuff Degnan; her husband Dominick Aufiero; her grandchildren, Olivia LaRosa, Elizabeth LaRosa, Sylas, Greyson, Sofia Aufiero, Natalie Osiecki and Allyson Osiecki; and also, Judith LaRosa (James) of Marlton, NJ, Martina Aufiero (Melissa) of Berwyn, PA and Dawn Osiecki (Jason) of Lincoln University, PA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue , Wilkes-Barre on Monday from 5-8pm and at the Church on Tuesday from 9-10 am . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation www2.jdrf.org.
