She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Smith McDonald; her grandmother Anna Bauer Smith; her husband James McGeever; and her brothers, Harold and Robert.

She is survived by: her children, James (Charlene Frail-McGeever) and Tracy (Daniel Cornelius). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
