He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Garside and Harriet Garside (Frishett). He is survived by: his wife Roseann Bressi; his sons, Michael Garside of Dallas, PA and Brian Garside (Tabitha Moser) of LaPorte, PA; and his sisters, Carol Yurkovic (Frank), Elizabeth "Betsy" Cecere (Peter) and Catharine "Kitty" Lehman (late Richard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
