We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 90, Joan L. Stout of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Joan may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Skip" Stout; her children, Jean Bennett (Terry) of Oklahoma and Frank Daniels (Linda) of Missouri; her grandchildren, Joseph Parks, Leann Daniels and Frank Daniels; and her half-sister Theresa Gyure of LasVegas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation (436 S Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, PA 18707). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:50 PM at the Albert Cemetery (864 Church Rd, Mountain Top, PA 18707).
