She was predeceased by: her parent John Benish; her husband Thomas L. Cavanaugh; her siblings, Mary Greytock, Joseph Benish and Peter Benish; and her daughter Jeanne Cavanaugh Brown.
She is survived by: her parent Julia Holetz Benish; her children, Richard Bunn (Maryann) and Karen Alsbrooks (Mike); her sister Anna Palmentara of Swoyersville; her grandchildren, Richard Bunn, Tara Quinty, Lindsey Alsbrooks, Michelle Brown and Samantha Brown; and her great grandchild Jack Quinty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
