She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Slovick; her husband Lawrence L. Mellas; and her siblings, Evelyn Stolinas, Elenore Agonis, Joseph Slovick and Vincent Slovick.

She is survived by: her parent Mary Slovick; her children, Beverly Ann Yeager and Lawrence Mellas; her grandchildren, John Yeager, Eric Mellas and Jaime Mellas; and her great grandchildren, Hayley of Mountain Top, Carson of Mountain Top, Abigail of Mountain Top, Riley of Mountain Top and Gunnar of Mountain Top.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Celtic Hospice or St. Jude's Church.
