He was predeceased by: his father Alexander Buchholz; and his wife Diane Buchholz (Skala). He is survived by: his mother Margaret Kikel of Mountain Top; his children, Kristin, Stacy Buchholz and Alex Buchholz; his siblings, Edward Buchholz (Mandy) and Warner Buchholz (Marcy); and his close friend Nancy Foley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dr. Roger Cohen's Cancer Research at the University Of Pennsylvania's Pearman Center or the Appalachian Trail Conservatory .
