She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Cantler and Netta Cantler (MacTaggert); and her husband Carl Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Hildwein (Gary Hildwein) and Peggy Jo Thomas (Joseph Zielinski); her grandchildren, Sara Hildwein and Lauren Foster (Stephen Foster); and her sister Isabelle Colby.
