With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbert I. McCartney Jr. (Mount Union, Pennsylvania), born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 59. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert I. Sr. McCartney and Hilda E. McCartney (Longenecker); his son Wilbert I. "Buddy" McCartney III; and his sister Hilda McCartney. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathy Myers; his children, Angel Wilson and Jason Myers; his grandchildren, Triston, Kendyl and Cree Wilson; his children, Kiersten, Austin, Camdyn Myers and Kane McCartney; and his siblings, Martha Eichelberger (Kenneth), Peggy McCartney, Wilma Kelly (Terry) and Jackie McCartney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
