He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Runk and Ruth Runk (Ramsey); and his sisters, Dorcas Anderson and Darlene Garman. He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Long; his children, Bill Runk (Tina), Kathy Renninger (Jerry) and Mike Runk (LaVonda); and his sister Peggy Runk.
