He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert and Frances Rogers (Grice); his wife Delynn F. Rogers (Fortson); his grandson Julius Rogers; and his brothers, Richard "Cookie" Grice and Lowell James Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Rogers, Doreen Hamlett (Blaine) of Waldorf, MD, Nicholas Rogers and Trevino Rogers; his grandchildren, Jaleesa Johnson (Ryan) of Wahington, D. C., Rasheeda McCallum, Dimitrius Hamlett of Waldorf, MD, Kevin McCallum, Amaya Rogers, Zhane Settlemyer and Kaison Rogers; his great grandchildren, Joshia McCallum, Alana Hamlett of Waldorf, MD, Richter Wilkins Harvey, Xavier Wilkins Harvey and King McCallum; and his siblings, Darlene Fortson (Willard), Joan Rogers, Phyllis Jean Grice, Clyde Rogers, Riley Rogers of Houston, TX, Eula (Georgia), Georgia, Delores Grice and Andrew Rogers (Darlene). He is also survived by friends, and coworkers.
