He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Yakymec and Esther Yakymec (McKinnis); and his sisters, Mary Rippert, Stella Loope and Catherine Heidel.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine (Stasko); his children, Paul (Stacy Barrett), Cynthia Yakymac-Kline (David), Jon Yakymac (Danette) and Christopher Yakymac (April Neil); his grandchildren, Jakob, Nicolette, Michael (Danielle), Austin, Logan, Evan, Anthony, Ethan, Katelynn, C. J. and Mia; his great grandchildren, Collin and Oaklan; and his sister Anna Holesa.
