He was predeceased by: his parents, George Snyder and Jane Snyder (Fink); his wife Frances "Olive" (Crouse); his son Joseph Snyder; his son-in-law Gary Wilson; and his brothers, Charles and Dale Snyder.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Merriam (John), Edwin Snyder (Karen), Newton Hamilton and Peggy Wilson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, Welfare Fund, 500 Municipal Drive, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
