She was predeceased by: her parents, Willy H. Fortson and Natlene E. Fortson (Patterson); and her children, James Fortson, Martha of Washington, Mary Banks and William Fortson.
She is survived by: her children, David L. Fortson (Dori), Kenneth D. Fortson (Julia), Howard L. Fortson (Silvia Zimmer), Robin Hoch (Chris) and Linda Fortson (Tim Davis); and her nephew Raymond Fortson (Bernice) of Chicago Ill. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
