We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2023, at the age of 89, Kenneth E. Wharton (Mount Union, Pennsylvania), born in Mapleton Depot, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin E. and Mary B. Wharton (Sheets); his wife Barbara Wharton (Dell); his son Edward C. Wharton; and his siblings, Robert Wharton, Donald Wharton, Nina Shaffer and Litha.
He is survived by: his daughter Peggy A. Collins (Donald); his grandchildren, Edward Wharton, Emily Wharton and Amanda Cramer; and his sister Helen Benner. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
