She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Myers and Cecil B. Myers (Merritt); her husband Gerald M. Rutter; her great grandchild Ashley Reed; and her siblings, William "Billie" Myers and Thomas Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah M. Reed (Ned), Trudie J. Ford (Preston) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Thomas G. Rutter (Karen) and Jill T. Bennett (Ketih); and her sister Lena Whitesel. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
