It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Lear (Mount Union, Pennsylvania), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Lear and Betty Jane Lear (Manspeaker); his wife Sue Lear (Sarra); and his brother Bobby Lear. He is survived by: his sons, David (Haley) of Mount Union and Michael (Krishanu Mitra) of New York; his grandchildren, Sage of Dillsburg, Kirkley of Plum and Gyasi of Mount Union; his brothers, Jim Lear (Beth) and Barry Lear (Deborah); his siblings-in-law, Carmella Lear, Arla (Raymond Kent) and Paul Sarra; and his cousin Fred Lear (Valerie) of Huntingdon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
