He was predeceased by: his father Donald H. Stake; and his sons, Matthew and Anthony. He is survived by: his mother Norma L. Stake (Bilger); his wife Kimberly M. Stake (Brown); his sons, Derrick Hunter Stake, Luke Hawkeye Stake (Trisha), Todd Trapper Stake (Ariahna), Hunter Levi Stake (Selina) and Tanner Wyatt Stake; his grandchildren, Jacob Isaac Stake, Gabriella Rose Harne, Greyson Rylan "George" and Leighton Paige "Sissy" Brown; his brother William Stake (Dawn); his nieces, Renee Shearn (Josh), Heather Irvin (Wayne), Nicole Starr (Eric) and Natalie Stake (Austin); his nephew Corey Stake (Kayla); and his former wife Lori Ann Snyder (Piper).
