She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ginithan and Opal Ginithan (Snyder); her son Stephen Atherton; her grandson Jared Brown; her grandmother Florence Snyder; and her brother Robert Harry "June" Ginithan.
She is survived by: her husband Leslie M. Atherton; her children, Tonja Charnesky, David Atherton (Brenda), Debra Beck (Troy), Michael Atherton, Lucinda Parsons (Terry Lee), Linda Atherton and Laurie Atherton; and her sister Patsy Hollibaugh. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
