He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos R. Shatzer, Sr. and Jeanette Shatzer (Winder). He is survived by: his wife Kay Shatzer (Snyder); his daughter Leslie Shatzer-Hicks (John) of Louisville; and his grandson Jonathan S. Hicks.
