Wanda L. Altemose Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda L. Altemose of Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David C. Bisbing and Arvilla Bisbing (Keiper); her niece Sharon Frey (Altemose); and her nephews, William Altemose and Dean Litzenberger.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Altemose; her children, Randy Altemose of Mt. Pocono and Sandy Jo Evans (Dale) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Jesse Evans, Mindy Altemose, Justin Evans, Melissa Altemose and Megan Altemose; her great grandchildren, Warner, Whitney, Walter Visconti and Robert Evans; her sister Shirley Lansdowne (Robert) of Mt. Pocono; her niece Mara Lansdowne Reed of Reading; her nephews, David Lansdowne of Mt. Pocono, Dennis and Douglas Litzenburg; and her great-niece Brittany Frey Walters of Durham.
As per her wishes, her body was donated to science through the Humanity Gifts Registry. In lieu of flowers - live kindly, honestly and humbly; be of service every day; and/or donate to the Mt. Pocono United Methodist Church or Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company.
