She was predeceased by: her parent James Beatty; and her sisters, Dorothy Anna "Dot" Wilkinson (Charles "Dusty") and Sara Belle Singleton. She is survived by: her parent Evelyn Beatty (Amey); her spouse Ernest William Gross; her children, Scouting Pack, Coolbaugh Pack, Wayne E. Gross (Shirley) of Canadensis, PA, Wendy L. Gross of Tobyhanna, PA, Wanda E. Gross of Mt. Pocono, PA and William E. Gross of Mt. Pocono, PA; and her grandchildren, Bryce D. Gross and Carissa R. Gross. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand and great nieces.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church.
