He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Zabawski and Mary Zabawski; his wife Carol Ann Zabawski (Ernst); and his sons, Keith Zabawski and Darren Zabawski.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim Regina (Mario); his sister Diane Zabawski; and his grandchildren, Amanda Regina and Michael Zabawski.
