He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hoke and Stella Ritenour Hoke; his wife Nancy J. Basinger Hoke; and his siblings, Genevieve Hoke, Rosalee Hoke, Emma Lou Hoke, Clifford Hoke, Homer Hoke, Jr., Ned "Clinton" Hoke (Cecile), Fred Hoke (Lillian) and Robert Hoke.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Nichelson (Walter) of Normalville and Roger Hoke (Kimberly) of Mount Pleasant; his grandchildren, Emily Nichelson, Blake Hoke, Megan Seaton (Ira) and Brittany Absher (David); his great grandchildren, Colton Hoke, Lennon Absher and Isla Absher; his sister-in-law Thelma Hoke of Mount Pleasant; and his in-laws, LeeAnna Boring of Bullskin Twp, Dolores Basinger of Bullskin Twp, Dale of Bullskin Twp and Jean Basinger of Bullskin Twp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Mt. Pleasant (406 Washington St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
