He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Christie and Theresa Tepley Christie; his wife Ruth Welch Christie; his son Gregory Christie; and his siblings, George, John, Joe, Mike, Paul Christie, Margaret Molchan and Ann Crum.
He is survived by: his son Mark Christie; his grandchildren, Nicole Karfelt (Robert), Kayla Johnson (Matthew) and Alexis Christie; his great grandchildren, Robbie, Ryan Karfelt and Aiden Johnson; and his sisters, Joanne Overdorff and Mary Bezpiaty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
