He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Shaw and Ruth Dodson Shaw; his nephew Brian Hixson; his siblings-in-law, Gilbert Kunkle, Howard Mowry, Jimmy Richards, Dorla Hillen, Thelma Richards and Judith Grimm Shaw; and his mother-in-law Nettie Kunkle.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kunkle Shaw; his children, Timothy Shaw of Latrobe, James Shaw of Mt. Pleasant and Karin Rugg of Normalville; his stepsons, Duane Rodgers (Stacy) and Dennis Rodgers (Brenda) of Mt Pleasant; his grandchildren, Angela Shaw, Devin Shaw, Samantha Shaw, Joshua Shaw (Keri) and Jimmy Shaw (Bella); his stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Dylan, Dakoda, Jesse Rodgers, Joey and Seth; and his great grandchild Emma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
