He was predeceased by: his parents, H. George Caldwell and Dorothy Caldwell; his wife Frieda Federici Caldwell; and his sister Edith Dohey. He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Federici of David, M. D. and Lisa Federici Echard (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Kirstin Fowler of Brian, M. D., Kendal Fowler Kaminski (Robert), Kathryn Fowler Eberle (Peter), David Fowler (Mary Kathleen), Tennille Echard and Nicole Echard Hilker; his brother James Caldwell; his cousin Robert Wilson; and his son Harley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Again, his wry sense of humor and generous heart found friendship among the residents. Tom found solace in reading five to seven novels per week in the isolation of social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
