He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Gerhart and Debbie Gerhart (Dickinson); his daughter Linda D. Gerhart; and his brother Stanley Gerhart. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn C. Gerhart (Kramer); his son Jody L. Gerhart; his close friends, Mary Shuman and Berkshire Heights; his daughter Sharon L. Emerick; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Sandy, Alicia, David, Nicholas and Samantha. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
