It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley J. Markiewicz of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen P. Markiewicz and Lillian Scrabot Markiewicz; and his siblings, Walter Markiewicz and Delphine Suckenick. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Markulike Markiewicz; and his children, Stanley Markiewicz (Michelle) of Norvelt, Mary Jane Kubasky (Mark) of Mt. Pleasant, Bernadette Popovich (Joseph) of Coldwater, Brian Markiewicz (Cindy) of Norvelt, Kevin Markiewicz (Joyce) of Mt. Pleasant, Shawn Markiewicz of Scottdale, Elaine Miller of Mt. Pleasant and Noreen Griffith of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by his 13 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Excela Health Hospice or a charity of one's choice, in Memory of Stan Markiewicz.
