He is survived by: his grandson Junior Dragster; his wife Lora "Lori" Rodkey Whalen; his children, Kimmy Marinchek (Steve) of Mt. Pleasant and Rob Whalen (Melissa) of Ruffsdale; his grandchildren, Justin "JJ" Murdock Jr., Hailey Whalen and Mia Whalen; his brothers, Kevin Whalen (Lyla) of Blairsville and Mark Whalen (Wendi) of Land; and his friends, Peter Flemming and William Sterner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
