He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bjune and Catherine Devlin Bjune; and his brother Roy Bjune. He is survived by: his siblings, Russell Bjune (Patricia) of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Flaherty and Deborah Maalouf.
