He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leonard and Bernice Leasure Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Penny Blackburn Leonard; his son Rickey L. Leonard Jr. (Valerie); his grandsons, Jimmy and Joey Greenawalt; his great grandchild Elly Greenawalt; and his siblings, Charles, Donald, James Leonard and Martha Farrow.
