He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard T. DeArmitt and Willada Eichner DeArmitt; his former wife Connie Shearer DeArmitt; his stepdaughter Bobbi Jo Vickers; and his great grandchild Charli Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bisel DeArmitt; his daughter Kattie Thompson (Todd) of Connellsville; his stepchildren, Sara Hoffman (George) of Mount Pleasant, Donna Yonish (Larry) of Youngwood and Donald Wigle (Charlene) of Schroyerville, PA; and his brothers, Alvin DeArmitt of Mount Pleasant and Kerry Beal. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home - Mt. Pleasant (406 Washington St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
