He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius "Iggy" Furlo and Mary Zadylak Furlo; his brother Michael Furlo; and his brother-in-law Dale Callaghan. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis "Sandy" Patrilla Furlo; his children, Christopher Paul (Lori), Carey Allen (Christy) and Mary Christine; his grandchildren, Alexandria and Zachary; his sisters, Theresa Dolney of Scottdale, Antoinette "Toni" Hominsky of Scottdale and Joan Furlo of Scottdale; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Callaghan of Mt. Pleasant, Janine Shutty (Joe) of Mt. Pleasant and Louise Garrison (Dan) of Nice, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc. (204 Eagle St, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X. R. C. Church. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X. Parish Cemetery.
